Welcoming Inbal Magen to the Foundation’s Israel team

The Russell Berrie Foundation is thrilled to welcome Inbal Magen as its first Associate Program Officer in Israel. Inbal’s broad experience in philanthropy, government, and NGOs will be invaluable in advancing the Foundation’s strategies in Israel. She brings an exceptional track record of strengthening relationships between public, business, and civil society organizations, as well as between Arab and Jewish communities. Inbal will begin her role on June 10.

Inbal Magen

Inbal comes to the Foundation from the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Philanthropies, where she made social investments in Arab society within Israel and led content development and strategic planning for the ROI Community, a global network of Jewish and Israeli changemakers. Previously, she held government positions as senior adviser to the Director General of the Ministry of Regional Cooperation and as a speechwriter and content creator at the Israeli President’s Residence. Inbal also has served as a project manager at Appleseeds Academy, where she supported employment and technological literacy in Israel’s periphery, and as an educational coordinator with The Jewish Agency in Durban, South Africa.

“I am truly honored to be joining The Russell Berrie Foundation to advance its important work in Israel,” Inbal said. “In this time of deep fractures within Israeli society and growing threats to the global Jewish community, I feel a strong sense of purpose in joining an organization with such strong commitment to rebuilding, healing, and supporting the people and organizations leading positive change.”

Inbal earned her B.A. and M.A. degrees from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
